Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Sitwell, provided by [Company legal name] (“we”). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The service

Sitwell uses third-party AI models to create new images based on photos you upload and the style you choose. AI output varies: some images will look more like you than others, and some may contain flaws. We show previews and deliver multiple images so you can choose.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 and live in the United States. Keep access to your email account secure: it is how you sign in.

3. Your photos and acceptable use

• Only upload photos of yourself, or of another adult who has given you explicit permission.
• Never upload photos of minors.
• Do not use Sitwell to impersonate, deceive, harass or defame anyone, or to create sexual or violent content.
• You must hold the rights to the photos you upload.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and the AI provider may refuse certain inputs.

4. Rights to images

You keep all rights you have in your uploads. You grant us a limited licence to process them solely to provide the service. To the extent we hold any rights in the generated images, we assign them to you, and you may use them for personal and commercial purposes. Under current US Copyright Office guidance, purely AI-generated images may not be protected by copyright.

5. Prices, payment and credits

Packages are one-time purchases of credits, priced in US dollars; one credit creates one image. Prices are shown before checkout, and any applicable sales tax is added at checkout. Credits do not expire. If an image fails to generate, its credit is returned automatically. Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase; see the refund policy.

6. Invite links

You can share your personal invite link. When someone who hasn't bought from us before buys their first package through it, they receive bonus photos and you receive free credits, as described on your account page. Credits are limited to a maximum number of rewarded friends, have no cash value, and are removed if the qualifying purchase is refunded. Inviting yourself, using fake accounts or spamming links isn't allowed, and we may remove credits obtained that way. Paid partnerships are covered by the separate affiliate terms.

6a. Reviews

Customers who bought a package can write one review. We publish reviews that follow our content rules (no abuse, personal data, spam or unrelated content), whatever their rating, and we never pay for or edit reviews.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
