Affiliate program terms

These terms apply to the Sitwell affiliate program operated by [Company legal name]. They are in addition to our general terms of service.

1. Joining

You must be at least 18, live in the United States and have a Sitwell account. We review applications and may accept or decline them at our discretion. You are an independent contractor, not our employee, agent or partner.

2. Commission

• Your commission rate is shown on your affiliate dashboard (currently 25% for new affiliates), calculated on the amount the customer paid, excluding taxes.
• A customer is credited to you when they start their first purchase within 30 days of visiting through your link. The last link clicked counts.
• You earn commission on that customer's purchases for 12 months from that first purchase. People who were already customers are not credited to you.
• No commission is earned on your own purchases, or on purchases that are refunded or charged back.

3. Payment

Commission becomes payable 30 days after the purchase. We pay monthly by PayPal to the address you provide once your payable balance reaches $50. Before your first payout you must provide a completed IRS Form W-9. You are responsible for your own taxes. If a paid commission is later refunded, we may deduct it from future payouts.

4. How you may promote Sitwell

• Clearly disclose your affiliate relationship wherever you share your link, as required by the FTC Endorsement Guides, for example “I earn a commission if you buy through my link.”
• Only make claims about Sitwell that are true and that you can support. Do not promise specific results.
• No spam (including unsolicited email, SMS or DMs), no fake reviews, no incentivised clicks, no cookie stuffing, and no listing on coupon or cashback sites.
• Do not bid on “Sitwell” or misspellings of it in paid search, and do not use our name or logo in a way that suggests you are Sitwell.
• Do not share photos of anyone without their consent.

If you break these rules we may withhold commission earned through the violation and close your affiliate account.

5. Changes and ending

We may change these terms or the commission rate with 30 days' notice by email. Either side can end participation at any time; commission earned before the end remains payable under these terms.
